Dr Blanca Poveda

Dr Blanca Poveda has specialised in Neuropsychology since 2008 and has worked in private as well as NHS acute, post-acute, outpatient and community services across England and Scotland providing both therapy and neuropsychological assessments. She currently works part-time for NHS Lothian as the Principal Clinical Neuropsychologist for the South East of Scotland Major Trauma Service, as a Research Fellow for NHS Research Scotland (NRS) as well as Director and Neuropsychologist within Edinburgh Neuropsychology. Her main interests are in the acute stages of recovery including the post confusional state and disorders of consciousness. In addition to her clinical work, Blanca is an Associate Lecturer at the Salomons Institute of Psychology at Canterbury Christ Church University and teaches on the Doctoral Programme for Clinical Psychology at the University of Edinburgh.
