Simon Glen

Trainee Counselling Psychologist

Simon Glen is currently a trainee Counselling Psychologist due to complete the course in the coming months. He has had placement experience in Maggie’s Forth Valley working with people affected by cancer, in the Occupational Health Employee Counselling Service for NHS GGC, at Glasgow Council on Alcohol and at Epilepsy Scotland.

He has a strong interest in people with brain injury having previously been employed as the Project Co-ordinator of Headway Glasgow. He had experience in other brain injury organisations going back to the Head Injuries Trust for Scotland at the end of the 1990’s.

Jacqueline Lange

Welfare Rights Advisor

Jacqueline joined Digby Brown as a Welfare Rights Adviser in August 2010. She previously worked with The Department for Work and Pensions for over 25 years. Her roles included working as a Decision Maker, Benefits Supervisor and visiting clients at home to assist them in claiming benefits.

Jacqueline currently heads up the Welfare Rights Team and advises clients on entitlement to welfare benefits, assists with completion of benefit application forms and also assists with appeals including representation, where appropriate. In 2019 the Welfare Rights department delivered benefit gains for our clients of over £750k.

 

In addition, Jacqueline provides training to staff throughout Digby Brown, delivers benefit advice presentations to charities and local groups and produces the firm's benefit advice leaflets.
